On 1 February 2018 Raymond Padmos joined the Computational Science Lab as a PhD student. Raymond will work together with Alfons Hoekstra on the INSIST project, aiming at developing In Silico Clinical Trials for Acute Ischemic Stroke. Raymond will work on models related to stroke and integrating them into in silico clinical trials for the treatment of acute ischemic strokes.
Raymond was born in Schiedam and currently lives in Rotterdam. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Nanobiology, and is interested in modeling and simulating life, especially with medical applications in mind.
