All of the students did very well and we’re proud to say that a number of students received an ‘excellent’ grade from the ITMO committee. A special prize was awarded to Maris Guzha who was awarded the ‘best thesis’ award for his thesis ‘Development of Multi-criteria Optimization Methods and Techniques in Problems of Data Assimilation and Hydrometeorological Models Calibration‘ the double degree. The defence was followed by a celebration with the staff and students in ITMO.
