Petascale parallel computing for suspension modelling
Contact: dr. Alfons Hoekstra
You
will work in a team to create a massively parallel simulation on
suspensions of red blood cells. The aim is to develop higly efficient
parallel algorithms that scale very good to the Petascale (tens of
thousands of processors). The resulting simulations
will be used to study in detail the dynamics of platelets and red blood
cells in cerebral aneurysms.
